Chargers Will Open Against No. 3 Iowa Central in NJCAA Div. II Volleyball Championship

The Carl Sandburg College volleyball team will take on third-seeded Iowa Central at 9 a.m. Tuesday to begin the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship.
The Chargers (10-8), making their third national tournament appearance in the last four seasons, drew the 14th seed in the tourney. The 16-team, double-elimination event takes place April 13-15 at Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Iowa Central enters the tournament with a 19-3 record.

Spectators will be allowed at the tournament. Single-day and all-session passes are available for purchase on Ticketmaster. More information on tickets for the tournament and the venue’s health and safety policies are available on the Alliance Energy PowerHouse website.
